Did you see German actress Diane Kruger on the first day of the 65th Cannes Film Festival? I don't know about you, but I really liked this look! I think the laced-up detailing adds that ooh-and-aah factor without going overboard. Very gladiator-meets-cheerleader, I love how it whittles the waist and although she hardly needs it, the belly-cinching panel between the top and the pleats.

Hair

For DK's beachy waves, I highly recommend Josie Maran Bohemian Waves Argan Hair Mist. Just spray it in damp hair and let it air dry. You can use it on dry hair to amp up your limp locks as well.

Makeup

DK's makeup is natural and neutral-looking. If I were to re-create it myself at home, I'd use the Moon Eyeshadow Quad by Rain Cosmetics on my eyes with Gleam Lip Radiance in Pop my Cork.

If you think  the dress is familiar, that's because it is -- from the Marie Claire June 2012 cover featuring Jessica Alba -- but it looks a lot more purple on the cover. With lighting and PhotoShop, your guess is as good as mine! I'd probably go with Jessica's purple if I was making that choice, how about you?
